A second advantage is that there is no time or travel restrictions
you can log onto the conference at a time and place that is convenient.
You can set your own schedule there-for spending as much or as little time
as you think is necessary.
There is no physical contact between participants, you cannot as
the report says (electronic conferences page 5 par 3) "shake hands, share
a meal, and create more personal relationships". During a discussion in
a physical meeting you can see peoples reaction to comments (body language,
facial expressions) and know that you are talking utter rot or that you
are going along the right lines. Smiles go someway to rectify this. :-)
A second disadvantage of studying through conferencing is self motivation
or lack there off. Although you can as in Advantage 2.study
when it best suits you, you can also not study, stare at the monitor screen,
tell your self that something on TV is interesting when its just rubbish.
